This Maine Guide course is designed to prepare educators for the state exam to acquire their Recreational Maine Guide License. All guides must follow the same protocols so if you wish to add multiple licenses like hunting or fishing simply add study in those specific areas. We will guide you through the entire process.
Course Includes:
Courses are scheduled on a rolling basis. It is required you complete the classroom sessions before attending the field practice session. These field days are also scheduled on regular rolling basis.
When payment is complete, You will receive instructions on how to log into video conference and Google Classroom. Your materials will be sent to address provided at checkout.
You will receive a copy of the Master Guide Hand Book and a materials packet that includes information and forms needed to apply for the state exam.
The registration fee covers all instruction, all materials and field training.
Courses includes 4 remote classroom sessions and 2 days in the field.
Fall and spring sessions, classes will be spread out over 4 months it will meet 1 Saturday a month
Bonus Session: Both groups will come together in the early summer for the 2 day field retreat.
Spring Session: 2/6, 3/6, 4/3, 5/1
When you register, your spot will be reserved you may select which session to attend.

Interested in hiking camping, snowmobiling, boating and survival in the Maine woods? This course with a Maine Guide is designed to build confidence for any of your outdoor adventures. We will cover several topics related to wilderness survival and emergency preparedness. These topics are highly adaptable for multiple emergency situations and are also helpful for group outings like school field trips and summer camps. Students will gain practical knowledge of how to prepare for a survival or emergency situation such as lost person scenario or catastrophic event. Students will be started on their way to becoming skilled survivalist.
